Imo State College of Education is a research-led institution that carries out fundamental and teaching research across the range of academic fields in our various schools.

The strength of IMSCED's research lies in the way it combines different disciplines and the integrated approach to academic and social issues.

It is an obligation of everyone that is involved in academic teaching and research at IMSCED to maintain academic integrity.

Research is closely linked with teaching; we have made it a tradition for all of our courses and programmes to have a strong research component.
