The Act establishing Imo State College of Education was signed into law in 2010 and amended in 2014, the institution was approved by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) in may 2017.
The College has numerous course combinations that are offered in the Nigerian Certificate in Education(NCE) program. Pre-NCE and Distance learning programs are also available.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Imo State College of Education Ihitte-Uboma. Ours is a new college with a difference; engaging our students professionally towards learning, teaching, research and community services.
